• SIPO stimulates and actively participates in the improvement of the national system of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights
• SIPO stimulates and actively participates in the improvement of the economic exploitation of intellectual property

SIPO Mission

SIPO is the pillar of the intellectual property system that promotes innovation and creativity and contributes thereby to the global competitiveness of the national economy, and to the social, scientific and cultural development of the Republic of Croatia and its citizens. 

SIPO carries out its mission through: 

• Granting and registration of industrial property rights
• Drafting legal regulations and development of NIPS
• Providing information and consultation services in the field of its activity
• Education, training, promotion and provision of information to the public
• Representation of HR in international organizations and other forms of international cooperation in the field of intellectual property
• Supervising the copyright and related rights collective management associations
