State Intellectual Property Office web page among the best selected by „VIDI Web Top 100“


The SIPO web page was selected from among the ten best web pages at a recent national Internet contest „VIDI Web Top 100“, of category “Government organisations, state institutions and public services“.

For this contest 2700 web sites applied, and the board of experts, formed by web industry experts and by way of set up standards to be complied in terms of technology and contents in order to enter a short list, selected 1739 web sites only, having met the required criteria.

A runoff followed for the evaluation of selected web pages divided by categories, by a 60-member jury formed by the representatives of various spheres of activity, science, economy and technology, services, publishing editors and organisations.

From among 1739 nominated web pages the jury selected ten web pages each of ten categories from among the Croatian web pages and ten regional pages of a special category.
The SIPO web pages were selected from among the ten best web pages in the category in competition with 96 nominated web sites.

A new redesigned official web page of the State Intellectual Property Office was created in order to make easier intellectual property data access to our beneficiaries, and its has been available to the public since 26 April 2011.
The Office continues to update the contents and functional attributes of its official web pages for the purpose of providing better information to the public in terms of contents, and continues to develop the access capability of electronic services for beneficiaries.
