Study Visit by the Delegation of the Intellectual Property Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the SIPO
Within the bilateral cooperation programme (BCP) between the Intellectual Property Institute of BandH and the European Patent Organization, the State Intellectual Property Office hosted a study visit by the delegation of the Intellectual Property Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina led by the Director of the Institute Mr Merdžo in the period from 25th to 27th October 2017.
The work of the State Intellectual Property Office and of the Intellectual Property Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina was presented within the visit. Three-day workshops were focused on issues regarding the work of the Patents Department and conveying experiences to the colleagues from BandH on patent databases search, on-line process control and management system, as well as quality assurance system. The presentation included also SIPO’s experience in achieving cooperation with universities and small and medium enterprises, as well as mode and methods of operating at the Information Centre for Intellectual Property of the Office (INCENTIV).
This study visit offered yet another opportunity to strengthen cooperation in the field of intellectual property at bilateral level with neighbouring Bosnia and Hercegovina.
